Why a funnel owner should care
When a handler carries a form submission or event notification, a response alone does not establish whether the result was saved. More time is not a delivery guarantee, a confirmed conversion or a promise of uninterrupted connections. The limits documentation still requires recovery-aware application design.
Our recommendation is to ask a developer to test three situations with non-payable test events: the client sees a failure before persistence; data is saved but the response is lost; a retry arrives after recovery. Each situation should leave a clear outcome for the same ID, without a duplicate credit.
Keep useful evidence
Record time, event ID, attempt, response and final processing state without personal information or secrets. Compare logical events with technical attempts: they are different metrics. Assign an owner to unresolved outcomes.
Do not change advertising budgets merely because a longer interval appears in a changelog. First establish whether Workers is on your actual route and whether interruptions are an observed problem. If the component is absent, no action is required. This is an external provider update, not a change to AffiliateCore attribution or payout rules.
